We at Officility are working to make our site www.officility.co.za accessible to people with disabilities.

1. Our Commitment

Officility is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We design our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, which is the international best practice for web accessibility.

 

2. What We've Done

Our website is built on Wix, which provides built-in accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation – Full keyboard access without needing a mouse

  • Screen reader support – Compatible with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack

  • Proper heading structure – Logical hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) for easy navigation

  • Smart focus indicators – Clear visual markers showing where you are on the page

  • Semantic HTML – Proper code structure that assistive technology can understand

We have also:

  • Added descriptive alt text to all images

  • Ensured sufficient colour contrast throughout the site

  • Tested forms and interactive elements for accessibility

  • Run Wix's Accessibility Wizard to identify and fix any issues

All issues flagged by Wix's Accessibility Wizard have been resolved.
